The shade cover protects the workers who have started cutting and bending rebar for use in building the Hacienda style gated entrance structure.
Brick making has begun. The machine under the shade tarp makes four bricks at a time under pressure. These bricks will be used in construction of the entry building. Later this same machine will be fitted with a different dye to make the pavers for use on the 4,000 m2 of roads in Buena Vista.
Once dry and set, workers stack the bricks for use later.
Layout starts where Hacienda style gated entry and visitor center structure will rise.
Workers carefully mark and level the site as they prepare to dig footings for the massive entry.
Another load of rock awaits the crew of masons that are working in the ditch on the lower right side of this photo. They are building the high rock retaining wall that will support the fill in the entry parking area.
